The Republicans threw a whopper of a round of after-dinner speechifyin' last night -- Romney, Ghouliani, Sister Sarah... and this mornin' the pundit class are all busy talkin' about all the red meat.

As Mark Whittaker, NBC's new news bureau chief called it, New York strip from Rudy, a whole side of moose from Palin.

But strip away the partisan sarcasm and division and dogwhistling, and we're right back to the same ol' same ol'...

And Sarah Palin? Mika Brezinski's luvin' all of it...
well, Mika, what exactly is she saying?

I'm askin'...where's the beef?

UPDATE: Turns out pollsters have been asking pretty much the same thing of women voters and here's what they're learning--outside the Republican Convention Hall and Mika's brain--American women are not buyin' what Palin's pimpin'. And here we go again on Nation Building at Home...this link/story appears in an Aussie newspaper.
