And the McCain who gambled on choosing her has shown by his narcissistic "I" speech and his pander to the most extreme rightwing of his base that he can't face issues. He can't face scrutiny.

He can only talk about character. Kinda funny when you think about it. A man who has to brag about his POW years...when he broke and betrayed his country with his own words. A man who has to talk about his Cinderella romance with Cindy...while he was still a married man with three children. A man who brags about being a reformer when he was caught with his hands deep in the Keating Five scandal.

Character you can believe in. Or not.
